Baked Meatballs and Marinara Sauce

1 kg SPAR Beef Mince
1 cup Breadcrumbs
1 large SPAR Egg
¼ cup SPAR Tomato Paste
2 tbsp dried Basil
1 tbsp dried Parsley
1 tsp minced Garlic
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper

1 tbsp SPAR Sunflower Oil
1 tsp minced Garlic
1 410 g tin SPAR Diced Tomatoes
2 tsp dried Basil
1 tsp dried Parsley

Preheat oven to 200˚C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, mix ingredients
with your hands until evenly combined. Roll mixture into 2 inch meatballs and place onto your baking sheet.
Bake for about 20 minutes. Remove from oven and allow meatballs to rest or transfer to a pot with marinara sauce.
Top with grated SPAR Cheese.

Instructions for sauce
In a saucepan, heat olive oil and minced garlic over medium heat.
Once garlic is fragrant, allow it to combine.
Continue cooking until tomatoes are heated through.
Simmer until ready to use.
