Jam Tarts
Ingredients
250g SPAR Cake Wheat Flour
125g SPAR Choice Butter, cubed
Pinch of salt
Sprinkle of SPAR White Refined Sugar
1 SPAR egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1-2 tbsp cold water

Method
Prepare these simple jam tarts by combining 250g of cake flour with 125g of cubed butter and a pinch of salt.
Mix until it resembles breadcrumbs. Stir in an egg and, optionally, 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Add 1-2 tbsp of cold water to bring the dough together.
Wrap and chill for 30 mins. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Roll out the chilled pastry, cut 12 circles, and line a buttered tart tin.
Spoon 1-2 tsp of your favorite jam into each. Optionally, cut out pastry in heart shapes. Bake for 15-18 mins until golden.
Cool in the tin briefly, then transfer to a wire rack and sprinkle sugar over top. Enjoy!
